About TD Wilson Art Studio

Artist Statement:

I am a lifelong artist who, even at an early age, realized that art gives meaning to my life. My primary medium is watercolor, and I am a member of the Southwestern Watercolor Society. I am also skilled in oils and acrylics, which lets me work with different textures and effects.

In addition, I use a variety of other styles and techniques, including plein air pastels and my experimental "Specklism." My favorite subjects are Texas landscapes and Pet Portraits.

My work is in private collections and corporate offices around the world.

I am open to commissioned artwork—please feel free to contact me if you have a project in mind.

Please take a moment to visit my gallery links and see my interpretations of the world around me.

     Pricing for Pet Portrait Paintings

Thank you for your interest in my work and for appreciating my art style!

My standard starting price for a 5x7-inch pet portrait painting is $80.

Because every portrait is a custom, one-of-a-kind piece, final pricing depends on several factors:

    • Size of the painting
    • Number of pets included
    • Complexity of the composition or any special requests

I don't use fixed price lists for anything beyond the basic 5x7 size—instead, I provide a personalized quote after learning more about your vision.

To create a painting that truly captures your pet's unique spirit, I go beyond just the photo.

I love hearing details about their personality, such as:

    • Favorite toys or activities
    • Quirky habits or daily routines
    • What makes them special to you

This extra insight helps me infuse the portrait with their true character, resulting in a meaningful piece you'll cherish for years to come. I don't simply copy a photograph—I aim to create something that feels alive and personal.

Once you share photos and tell me a bit about your pet(s), I'll review everything and get back to you quickly with a clear, fair quote that reflects the time and care involved while meeting your expectations.

If this resonates with you, please reach out! I'd be happy to discuss your ideas and start the process together.

Feel free to contact me anytime—I'm excited to hear about your beloved pet!
